Brexit Statement
On the 31st January 2020, the UK officially left the EU and as of the 1st January 2021 the UK will face a number of new rules.
BitBox have monitored the situation and we have done our utmost to be prepared wherever the current Brexit negotiations lead us.
- We have worked through and evaluated the UK governments transition directions, which can be found here https://www.gov.uk/transition, and identified the actions that we needed to complete to ensure that our business could continue without disruption.
- We have investigated and ensured we understand the requirements of the new UKCA markings and its impact on our customers.
- We have spoken to our key suppliers and couriers to ensure the continuity of business for supply and shipments.
- We will continue to work directly with our customers to limit any impacts from issues arising from Brexit that are outside of our control.
We understand that many of our customers may be concerned about the risks facing us but please rest assured that we are taking all reasonable steps to mitigate the risks where this is within our control. We will continue to monitor the situation and review our processes as and when it is required.
If any of our customers, partners and suppliers have any concerns, we encourage you to share these with us so that we can give you a more detailed response.
